63, Halifax, formerly of Wolfville, passed away peacefully at his home in Halifax. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Lewis and Vivian (O'Brien) Henderson. Everett worked as a long haul truck driver and enjoyed being on the road. He loved hockey and baseball especially the Leafs and the Blue Jays. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Everett was a loving father and grandfather, he will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Everett is survived by his daughters, Denise (Mike) Marino, Niagara Falls, Ont., Kimberly (Luke Rand) Braden, Wolfville; son, Billy (Jasmine) Stewart, Halifax; Maggie (Kiley) Henderson, Lower Sackville; sisters, Barbara (D.J. Cousineau) Seamone, Kingston, Joan Smith, Wolfville, Beverly (Bob) Wolfe, Kingston, Ellen (Barrie) Doubleday, Courtney, B.C.; grandchildren, Kenzy, Kaitlin, Maria, Luke Jr., Maggie, Jade, Jared, Madison, Angel, William and Austin; several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, Everett was predeceased by his sister, Vivian Henderson, in infancy; brother, William Henderson; brother-in-law, Hugh Smith. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m. Thursday September 17 in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main St., Wolfville (902-542-2151) where a funeral service followed by a reception will take place at 2 p.m. Friday September 18. Rev. Ellen Hunt officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
