74, North Alton, passed away Sunday morning November 11,2007 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in New Ross, he was the youngest son of the late Harry and Margaret (Keddy) Adams. Arnold was a finished carpenter who worked at Cornwallis Supplies for 16 years. He also worked for Topline Ventures and A.W. Allen's. He had a love for wildlife, cattle and gardening. Over the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and bell collecting. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife; Ethel (Jones) Adams, North Alton; three daughters; Wanda (Greg) Foley, Victoria Beach, Glenda (Brad) Schofield, Black River and Heather (Roy) Harvey, New Minas; 8 grandchildren; Elizabeth, James, Timothy, Travis, David, Sarah, Alison and Amber; 4 great grandchildren; Christopher, Austin, Tyrell and Lyla; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Arnold was predeceased by sisters; Gladys Sweet, Sarah Allen, Ellen Keddy, Hilda Legge and Nora Silver; brothers; Cecil and William. Visitation for Mr. Adams will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday November 13 in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville (902-678-2151) from where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday November 14 with Rev. Quincy Collins officiating. Burial will take place in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, New Ross. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
