Marion Hazel Cook, 92 of Annapolis Royal and formerly of First South, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2017 in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born on February 26, 1925 in New Cumberland, Lunenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Bertie and Hazel (Herman) Aulenback. She is survived by her sister Joan Smeltzer of Sudbury, ON; sister-in-law Una Aulenback of Bridgewater, NS and several nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her loving husband Keith in 2010; brothers Harold and Charles "Lindy" Aulenback. In keeping with Marion's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held on August 11, 2017 at 11:00 am in the First South Cemetery, Lunenburg County. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzhiemers Society of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
