Geraldine Joyce Lyon (Henderson), 80 passed away Monday August 21st, 2017, in St. John's, NL. Born in Wolfville, NS., she was the daughter of Francis Henderson (McQuarrie) and granddaughter to Henry Clifford Henderson and Mariam Henderson (Zwicker).
She is survived by her sisters Elaine Klein of Beaverlodge, Alberta; Connie Kendall of
Sherwood Park, Alberta; grandchildren Matthew Greenough, Jamie Greenough, Johnathon and Ashley Tucker (Twins); great-grandchildren Tanner and Ellie Greenough.
Geraldine was predeceased by Ramon Smith father to Christena Greenough, Derrick Smith
(Deceased), Bradley Smith, Heather Tucker. And by her husband David Lyon.
Cremation has already taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on August 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Wolfville Funeral Chaple. Interment will take place in the Henderson family plot in Willowbank Cemetery and she will be buried with her beloved family pet, Ben. Private Family get together after burial to toast Mother and Grandmother. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, as per request of family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Wolfville Chapel, 568 Main Street Wolfville (902-542-4656).
