Dianne Galloway, age 75 of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. She was born in Spring Hill, on February 19, 1942 and lived in Nova Scotia until 1980 when she moved to Vancouver Island, BC. Mom (Apple Knocker/VE1CAT) loved her family, her cats, music, the CB and Ham radio and of course … FB on her iPad, once her mobility declined. She treasured her time spent at Zwicker's Lake and her years living in Victoria Lake, BC especially, where she could be herself and let it all hang out. She is survived by her husband, Regan Galloway; mother, Grace Blair, Cumberland, BC; sister, Gail Dunn, Union Bay, BC; brother, Mike (Donna), Blair, BC; first husband, Arnold Veinot, Wilmot; children: son, Jeff Veinot, Harmony; daughter, Angela (Cary) McIntyre, Wilmot; daughter, Debbie (Dave) Saltzman, Meadowvale; bonus daughters, Barb (Brad) Silver-Thorn, Calgary, AB; Debbie Galloway, Powel River, BC; grandchildren, Blair McIntyre (Harry Hussain), Ottawa, ON; Devan McIntyre (Erika Hayden), Wilmot; Colton Saltzman (Andrea McMurtry), Kentville; Ryan Galloway (Marissa), Courtenay, BC; a great-grandchild; cousin, Gwen McCallum, New York. Predeceased by her cherished father, Harold Blair "aka Mitch", in 1987. There will be no service as per her wishes, only a private party in her honor that will take place at a laer date.
