Obituary of Russell Lynwood Croft

Russell Lynwood Croft, 83 passed away December 19, 2017 quietly in his home. Born on the 4th of December 1934, he was the son of the late Carl and Dorothy Croft.

Russell was born in Chester and was a Butterbox Baby, and Russ lived life to the fullest. Russell worked with the Department of Highways, and after 32 years he retired from a Superintendent position.

He is survived by his sons Paul (Jan); Russell (Mary); son-in-law Trevor (Darlene); grandchildren Keltie (Jeff); Jeffery (Vicki); great-grandchildren Charlie; Gia; Jack; brother-in-laws Gary (Pat) Sam; sister-in-laws Brenda; Judy; nieces Holly; Megan; Diane; nephews Jeff; Scott; Ryan; Mark; Ray; Scotty; also very special friends Carol, Clyde, Brad and Karen.

Russell was predeceased by his loving wife Deborah (McLean) Croft. His daughter Cheryl and his sister Francis.

Cremation has taken place. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday December 22, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Croft residence, 28 Palmeter Drive, Falmouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
