Joan Marie Harrigan, 83 of New Minas passed away peacefully February 6, 2018 in her home with her loving family by her side. Born July 13, 1935, She was the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Sheffield) Connors.
She is survived by her children Brenda Harrigan; Jo-Ann (Stephen) Thomas; Timothy Harrigan; grandchildren Kirstie (Leslie) Card; Jennifer (Jeff) MacDonald; Colleen (Sean) Edwards; great grandchildren Zachary; Greyden; Briar; Hayden.
Joan was predecesed by her loving husband Henry Myron Harrigan and daughter-in-law Faye Harrigan.
The family would like to offer thank you to Dr. Burgess, Dr. Sinclair, VON and Homecare.
A private family interment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
