Herbert "Herbie" Cecil Hart, 58 of Berwick passed away on February 11, 2018 in his home. Born December 10, 1959 in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Cecil and Gevena (Leopold) Hart.
Herbie held employment as a pipefitter for the Halifax Dock Yard. He was known as one of the best welders in Nova Scotia. He was also a proud member of the Evangeline Club.
He is survived by his son Skylar Hart of Berwick; brothers Malcolm Hart of Grand Pre and Melvin Hart of Kentville; sister Ruth McKinnon of Halifax, Pauline (Fred) Cochrane of Wolfville and Linda Hart of Kentville; granddaughter Summer Hart of Berwick.
Herbie was predeceased by his ex wife Isabell Hirtle; brothers Fred Hart and Bruce Hart; sister Doris Brightman.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Adult Service, 5 Chipman Drive, Kentville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
