To all the family,
I never hear anything until the last moment, so I felt pretty bad about hearing this today from my Sarah. I would’ve attended her celebration of life if I had of known.
Growing up, Aunt Marguerite was always young Aunt Marguerite because we had 2 Aunt Marguerite’s so the other one was called old Aunt Margaret.
Thinking back, I always will remember her smile and was always welcoming you into her home and making sure she gave you a cookie with whatever you wanted to drink or if it was supper time then sit and have some supper.
As for the boys and Sandy, I do remember different memories as children and I also have some memories of being at a pig roast as an adult and a few other times.
I do know your Mom, my Young Aunt Marguerite planted a garden of love, and as that garden grew, which were her children, she got to watch this garden bloom and continue to grow. Now you guys get to sit back and watch your mom‘s garden grow the garden of love… grandkids, great grandkids and it’s also a garden that will always bloom. And the great memories from this garden will always remind you of her dedication, love and sweetness to you all.
I hope you guys have surrounded yourself with lots of love and great memories to get you through the sad times you’ve been going through and may go through for a while. Grief is different for everyone.
I will continue to remember my young Aunt Marguerite for her beautiful welcoming smile.
And I will continue to cross my fingers that I run into you guys as I live in the area.
Arlene
