Reeves: Marguerite (Honey) L. Reeves, peacefully passed from this life to the next on March 20,2020 at the Valley Regional Hospital. Mom was born March 09,1937 in Berwick NS; she was the daughter of Augustus (Gus) Reeves and Susan (Weatherbee) Reeves.

Mom was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Moms character was that of a very strong woman, she was devoted to her family and loved ones.

Mom was a hard worker and dedicated to what ever she put her hand to. Later in Moms life she studied hard and became a PCW at the Grand View Manor in Berwick, NS. A very proud moment for mom and a career that gave Mom so much joy. Mom loved her patients and cared deeply for everyone she looked after.

Later when Mom retired, she continued to volunteer at the Grand View Manor and would often sit with patients who were at end of life.

Mom was always knitting and crocheting in her spare time throughout her life and warmed us children for many years with her hats, mittens, scarves and socks.

Mom continued to knit for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always presented a warm cozy crocheted blanket for the most recent great grandchild.

Mom also donated her knitted items to the Open Arms and others who were in need.

Mom was a wonderful baker and cook and always presented her famous iced sugar cookies to her grandchildren at Christmas and birthdays, and carried on the tradition to her great grandchildren.

Mom would also share many soups, homemade fresh rolls and sweets with the soup kitchen at the Aylesford Baptist Church. It was the highlight of her week.

Mom was also a member of the Aylesford Baptist Church and also a ladies Bible study group that was held weekly in her home. Mom loved her church family very much.

Mom was a loving, kind, supportive person who was always there with a listening ear and words of wisdom.

Moms love touched many lives in all areas of her life.

Our lives will not be the same without mom’s presence but we take comfort in knowing fully that someday we will be joined together with Mama in Heaven.
