I have been awhile getting this out, I miss my mom so much. Four weeks ago today I placed a white rose on top of your urn, I did not want to let go and I lost a piece of my heart that day.
The old homestead is not the same without you and Dad, we lost you both so close together.The wood fire is burning and the kitchen table is bare with no tea brewing, Everything seems so cold.The last few hours I was with you I could tell you heard every word I was saying even though you lay so still. You slipped away shortly after and I know Dad met you along you way. You are my last thought before I go to sleep at night, I know you are resting comfortably. My love for you is forever and until we meet again .A mom and daughter is a forever holding treasure.
