Obituary of Doris Marie Farmer
Doris Marie Farmer, Wolfville, passed away March 9, 2022, in the Valley Regional Hospital; just a few days before entering her 90th birthday on March 17. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Farmer, and the last surviving member of her family.
Doris was a very quiet and private person. She used to work as a domestic; as well as a lot of farmwork. Doris was a very hard-worker and she loved to cook.
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her bother, Lawrence; her twin brother, Dean; sisters, Marjorie, Evelyn, Winnifred, Kathleen, and Frances.
Cremation has taken place and she will be taken to Winnipeg. Later she will be returned to Nova Scotia to be buried with her family in the Willowbank Cemetery in Wolfville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
