Obituary of June Marion Dickie
June Marion Dickie, 75 of Conway, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2022 in the Digby General Hospital. Born in Parkers Cove, she was the daughter of the late Jesse William and Ruby Anna (Longmire) Magarvey.
Even though June adored her family; she also had such love and pride for her community, and spent countless hours volunteering. She volunteered for the Digby General Hospital, Ladies Auxiliary, Scallop Days, and as Mrs. Clause. June treasured her time spent camping and valued great music. You could hear her playing her favorite country or bluegrass tunes.
She will be remembered by her loving husband, John; her children, Stephen and Nancy (Perry); grandchildren, Nathan and Ryan; brother, Arthur (Bonnie); sister, Ruth (Robert); nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Christine.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
