Louise and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the death of Ray. It is so sad to see another member of our “knitting club” family pass away. The Saunders children alway looked forward to visiting your family in the valley. Ray was always so welcoming with such a big smile. When he talked to you he made you feel that you were the only person there. He must have been a terrific teacher. Louise and Ray were close friends of my parents. My parents were in awe of all their adventures. My mom was terrified of flying.
Dad turned 90 April 29th. We had a great house party for him. He has dementia so is living in Maplestone nursing home in Fairview. Take care Hubley’s. Gail

I first met Ray when we both worked at Keltic Lodge sixty years nine years ago. In recent years some of the Keltic group would get together. The Ray of 1953 gave promise of what he would become- a person who knew himself and what he wanted to become- a family man, a person who enjoyed his long and useful career , a person of religious faith and more. He was a person of quality ,first rate. Sincere condolences on his passing. Murray

Dear Louise - you and Ray made our transition to the valley so warm and welcoming, and it was always a delight when we shared your company. Ray so fulfilled the adage: "you are in life as you are on the golf course." A man of honesty, integrity, good humour and genuine kindness...we were blessed to have known him.
Our deep condolences to you and family.
