Obituary of Tammy May Ward
Please share a memory of Tammy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to a mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Tammy Ward, 49 of Berwick was a very modest person; even too a fault. She had thought so little of herself compared to others; but, if she was so little, how did she leave such a big hole in our hearts? Tammy was born on July 6, 1972 in Kentville and passed away on May 5, 2022 in Berwick.
We wished she could have seen herself as others did. She is one of the kindest, caring and loving people that could be known. It was hard to not leave her place without something she had picked up with us in mind. One of Tammy's joys in life outside of her beloved cat, Winston, was all the years she worked at the Grandview Manor in Berwick. Each of those that she cared for, and got to know, were her extended family, and Tammy spoke of them and the friends she had made there often.
You have gone to join the one that was your whole heart, Nathan will await you with open arms. No more worries Tammy... You're free. Our Love for you is unending..❤️❤️❤️
Tammy will be lovingly remembered by her father, Kelvin Ward; sister, Jessica Ward; brothers, Bill Ward and Isaac Ward; step-mother, Nancy Parent Ward; and so many other family members and friends, whom she loved all so dearly.
Tammy was predeceased by her mother, Natalie Ward at the age of 58 and her adored son, Nathan Ward at the age of 28.
Due to the rise in the our mental health issues, Tammy’s family would like to ask all to give a hug, warm words, and a kind ear. Memorial donations may be made to your local Mental Health Department. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
