Shirley Anne Steele, 75, of Bridgetown (formerly of Kentville), passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022 in the Mountain Lea Lodge. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Marion Patterson and step-daughter of the late Cyril Patterson.

Shirley is survived by daughter Kim (Dana) MacBride; son, Jamie Rhoddy; granddaughters, Kelsey (David) Cusack and Morgan (Zach) James; three great-grandchildren; half-brother, Floyd Patterson; half-sister, Darlene Patterson; step-brother, Wayne Patterson; step-sister, Jeannette Canning; and nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her mother and step-father, Shirley was predeceased by half-brother, Larry Patterson; and step-sister, Margaret Pierce.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Harbourville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kentville Open Arms or the Kentville Food Bank.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, NS B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
