As a boy, I lived with my Aunt Angie and Uncle Ron for some few years, in Brighton and Barton. These were important years for me, as a young man, and Angie treated me with kindness and inclusion.
We enjoyed talking over tea, having lunch at the local department store lunch counter and at Kaywin's, even going to bingo together (Angie won a $1,000 grand prize once, sometime around 1980, which was used towards her first car purchase - an exciting event!).
Angie always loved her cats - and loved her job working at a local veterinarian clinic.
With considerable inner fortitude, Angie worked hard, supported others and advocated for her children - she was someone you would be truly lucky to have in your corner. And her good works were done quietly and not for any sort of personal recognition. These qualities make Angie stand out as a person of exceptional character and value to those who knew her.
Thank you, Angie, and may you rest in peace and serenity.
