Dear Henry, Anne, Howard, Jeanne, and families,
We were very sorry to read of Hazel’s passing. The photo of her captured so well the gentle warmth and kindness she epitomized and for which we will long remember her.
When we first moved here in 1974, we were living in a tent as we built our A-frame. A late October snow storm hit and Arthur wasted no time driving down to pick up Kosmo and bring him to your home for a few days until the weather improved. Arthur was in charge of the Inuit kisses and, of course, Hazel looked after Kosmo as if he was one of her own. We will always be grateful for their kindness to us and include ourselves among the many individuals who felt the impact of Hazel’s caring and loving.
