Dorothy was an amazing lady. I remember first time I ever met her in the Crossings behind the High School. She and I talked and I helped her out around the house, had McDonald's Dates, listened to stories, shared some laughs and tears. After I moved out of my grandmother's place (where I stayed across the road from her in Windsor, NS) I've seen her around at my work and she would alway's say she loved me and I'm the best ❤️ I miss you and love you Dorothy I'm sending hugs up there and hope you can see my Daughter from your view xo

Dorothy loved to go for walks around the CROSSING. She loved meeting people and talking to them She always had a smile and good word to say.

So sorry for the loss of your beautiful Mother. I first met Dorothy many years ago when she was a Nurse on the Maternity ward at Digby Hospital. She was definitely the sweetest person ever and an excellent Nurse, especially with my babies. We had an instant connection and I always enjoyed our conversations, even years later, meeting up with her out and about in Digby. She had a beautiful heart, gentle and always caring. She was an inspiration to many and I have missed seeing her over time. May the treasured memories you shared with your Mom over the years, bring you some comfort during this difficult time. She certainly was a treasure and will be missed by many, R.I.P. Dorothy, you have certainly earned your wings.

Dorothy you will be missed by so many. Your kindness was overflowing. You were there for me when my children were born. Jennifer and Trish were the best of buddies for many years. Kurt and I enjoyed the fun we all had at our water art exercise classes.

I know Lou is soaring with the angels. In fact, she's probably giving directions. Remembering Dorothy will be easy and done with pride in having known this beautiful soul. She instilled great courage in me, commanding me to rise up. Here's to many turkey dinners in Heaven, Lou! PS Your spaghetti was sooo delicious.

My deepest sympathy to Dorothy's family. I met Dorothy 35 years ago when my daughter was born. She was a wonderful nurse, so kind and caring. Although I did not know her except for that brief time, I have never forgotten her and will always be thankful that she was my nurse.

Dear Trish and Michael
My heart is very deeply saddened to hear of the great loss of your mother.
She was a wonderful mother and a dear friend.
Over the years we shared many things together. We worked together as nurses, sang, knit, and went to the Ashram Camp many years. We even had a youth group, as your Mom and I loved children.
She will always be in my heart and on my mind. Greatly missed with deep sorrow.

Sincere condolences to the family of Dorothy. She was a wonderful woman and friend. I have enjoyed many times with her as she was a member of my Red Hatter’s Chapter known as the Digby Chicks.
