Aunt Ferne, what a lady. Not only did she have to deal with her 5 boys and Uncle Gerry but nephews like me would be there visiting or over night stays. In later years it was always a pleasure to take Dad to visit Aunt Ferne.

So sorry to hear of Ferne’s passing, we all grew up as neighbours to her and Gerald, they were like extended family to us, Ferne really could do anything she set out to do, she cut my hair when I was little, I will always consider their entire family as extended family, we were so lucky to have them as neighbours and friends.

I would like to send this message of condolence to Bryson & Anne, family on the passing of Bryson's mother. It is a blessing to know that she is no longer suffering and is now at peace. We didn't know Ferne personally but felt as if we did because of our many conversations with our dear friends Bryson & Anne who were always there for her in so many ways, fun times, when there were specific needs that needed to be attended to, and the many phone calls from the home to inform them of her condition when necessary.
