Obituary of James Thomas Chandler

James “Jimmy” Thomas Chandler, 74 passed away on March 7, 2025 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Kentville on June 23, 1950, Jimmy was the son of the late Morley and Evelyn Chandler.

Jimmy was well known in his community for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need, he was a proud member of the Kentville Legion Branch #006. Jimmy was a fan of music, especially the oldies rock n roll and loved to play his guitar. Jimmy will be dearly missed by those who had the opportunity to know him and be apart of his life.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Jimmy (Angi) Seeton and Jennifer Seeton; stepdaughter, Melissa; former wife, Lorelea Chandler; sisters, Marilyn (Larry) Steele and Margie (Raymond) Archibald; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren as well as many friends at the Kentville Legion.

Jimmy was predeceased by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the Kentville Legion Upstairs Hall. Arrangements have been entrusted by Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook, NS.
