To know Catherine was to know love, kindness, laughter and happiness.
I am so honored and grateful to have worked night shifts with Catherine. Catherine was mama hen at Caritas, always ensure that we were well taken care of. Residents always knew when Catherine was working and we always knew the residents had seen Catherine recently as their moods were always so happy. You could hear laughter in the halls from residents, Catherine and other staff.
Life is a B****, it doesn't make sense, and we lose the people we love too early. Catherine loved her family, friends and residents more than life itself. Her family was so important to her and she was always on the look out for new technology for herself or the grandchildren. She is so proud of her family.
She always put others ahead of herself and wouldn't listen to us to prioritize her own health/care.
I know Catherine was welcomed in heaven by many open arms from Sisters of Charity and family. I hope you are up there with a phone that has all the games you love with no ads, no bugs and no glitches. Plus with Zelda on the TV and lots of movies/shows.
