Obituary of Debra Jean Sherman

Debra Jean Sherman, 78 of Berwick passed away on March 15, 2025, in the Grandview Manor. Born in Berwick on April 25, 1947, Debra was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Louise (Pinch) Swindell.

Debra spent her working years employed at Grandview Manor, she was kind, compassionate and wore her heart on her sleeve. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and going shopping but most of all she appreciated the time she got to spend with her grandchildren. Debra will be greatly missed.

Debra is survived by her daughter, Cherri Sherman; her son, Derek Sherman; grandchildren, Charli Miller and Colin Sherman; great-grandchildren, Henry Miller and Margaret Miller; great-great-grandchildren, Seriena Parker, Shila Clyke, Oliver Sherman and Haisley Sherman; sisters, Dianne Brewer and Janise Tyler and her brother Larry Swindell.

In addition to her parents, Debra was predeceased by her husband Cecil Sherman.

There will be no service by request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 198 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook, NS.
