Irene and I worked together at the Waterville Correctional centre. After both of us retired we would often meet up for lunch at Paddys Pub in Kentville. Other friends would join us and probably Tuesdays became a highlight of our week. We would sometimes tell our neighboring diners that we were a couple of " jail birds". The looks of surprise on their faces was priceless. Yes we had good,fun loving times. Irene was a great cook. Her blueberry desert was amazing. She will be missed but she is being kept safe in our hearts.
