Obituary of Liz Brewster
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth “Liz” Brewster, 51 on May 2, 2025, in the QEII with loved ones by her side. Born on February 22, 1974, Liz was the daughter of Donald Brewster and the late Gloria Benjamin.
Liz loved the summertime, listening to music and picking berries, she never said no to a good book and enjoyed the simplicities of life. She enjoyed spending time with her cats, Nicey & Brody aka Fatcat and lounging by the pool with her boys.
Liz was selfless and always there to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen, she had a special way of making you feel seen, heard and showing you that you matter. Liz was strong, independent and committed to her own personal self growth which was reflected when she took a chance and went to school to become an Educational Assistant, she had the desire to help make a difference in the lives of those around her. Above all, Liz was an amazing mother, her children were her greatest blessings and truly the center of her world.
Before becoming an Educational Assistant at KCA, Liz worked for Eastern Protein and delivered papers for the Chronicle Herald.
“Liz taught us to be authentic and to embrace who we are, she gave without hesitation or asking for anything in return, she was a woman who loved fiercely and will be deeply missed but her spirit will live on in those whose lives she touched, Rest in Peace Liz”
Liz is survived by her beloved sons, Cody and Connor.
Liz was predeceased by her mother, Gloria Benjamin.
A special thanks to the doctors and staff at the QEII Cardiac ICU for their compassion and care.
