As tears flowed her family knew that she was once again in the arms of her beloved Charlie. Eunice was born on November 26, 1924 at Port Hood, Cape Breton, N.S.

Eunice will be missed by her 10 children and their spouses; Letty (Matt), Charlotte (John), Theresa, Frank (Lynda), Shirley, William (Theresa), Bonnie (Randy), Scotty, Rosie (Michael), Sandra (Pat);her grandchildren: Wayne, Krissy, Patrick, Charles, Holly, Tina, Tara, Jody, Stephanie, Catherine, Charla, Sean, Kyle, Ben, and Krisandra; her great grandchildren: Arwyn, Madeline, Vincent,  Ben, Clifford, Madison, Hunter, Hannah, Jake, Payton and Colton. Eunice was pre-deceased by her husband Charles MacNeil, her mother Catherine (Timmons), her brother, John Donald (Timmons), and sisters Theresa (McGrath), Shirley (Bonin) and Herbie (The Cat).

Eunice's life was full of love and laughter. She loved to sit on a beach with her feet in the water. Her favorite place to swim, and be in the water, was where she grew up in Port Hood, Nova Scotia. Eunice loved  when Charlie took the children out for drives every weekend after church. Her most favorite place to stop was the Chicken Burger place in Bedford, Nova Scotia,  this was the highlight of her week. Later in life she liked to watch her son Scotty make things in his garage. He always gave her a little job to do when she was in her chair watching him. She loved people and loved company everyone was welcome. She loved stories told by her children and people who stopped by for a chat.

Eunice loved life, and loved her children with her whole heart. She was an extrordinary person, who loved her little treats especially when she was offered bar-ba-que for supper. She was the rock of the family and set an example for her children, that they should always respect everyone, and treat them the way you wanted to be treated. Eunice was a devoted catholic. When she could not get to church, in her later years, she had her son Scotty find the daily mass on TV for her to take part in.

Eunice has left a legacy that will always be remembered and to quote her “To be”. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
