Obituary of Carl Nelson Boyd

Carl Nelson Boyd, 59 of Hants Boarder passed away on May 20, 2025. Carl was born on January 13, 1966, in Yarmouth, NS.

For many years, Carl worked for Dexters Construction where he was known as Weasel. When he wasn’t hard at work he enjoyed rabbit hunting with his beagles, fishing and spending time in the great outdoors. He loved a good joke and enjoying teasing his friends and family. During the times when the weather was nice you could find him out on his Motorbike. Carl will be missed by those who had the opportunity to be in his life.

Carl is survived by his foster parents, Tracy and Marilyn Wood; stepdaughter, Jackie Taylor, grandchildren, Aylissa and Brady Taylor as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carl was predeceased by his wife, Karen Boyd; stepson, Nick Taylor; father, Carl Boyd and foster father Mike.

Cremation has taken place; A private interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook, NS.
