Edith always told me that she did the best she could. That’s what she hoped people saw. Her story was filled with a lot of twists and turns. She never gave up and she always made me feel welcome. She always joked that she could teach me to knit. But she knew better…I will cherish my Edith made toque! It’s still the best one I own!

Edith was married to my grandfather (Lovett Trimper) she was a very loving and caring woman with patience's we could all learn from...some of my fondest memories of Edith was when she first started "courting" with my grandfather.....she hadn't yet became his "girlfriend" and I would often visit my grandfather for coffee and Edith would stop by very often while I was visiting and I soon realized what the two old folks where up to so me being me I would tease them both about there new found love and she would take it all in good spirits and her and I soon became very good friends.......I will miss her greatly and my heart hurts for all of her family and friends she has left behind. My condolences to all her children and family....rest easy Edith

Edith was a very kind hearted person, I am the mother of one of her great grand daughters Santana Gidney. She was always so kind and welcoming to me while I was part of the family and even afterwards. She was one of the strongest women I’ve met and was a true inspiration to me and I’m sure to a lot of people. May she be at peace now.
