Obituary of Marc Ralph Zinck
It is with great sadness that the family of Marc Ralph Zinck announce his passing on July 5, 2025 in the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg. Marc was born on June 10th, 1961, in the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg to Ralph and Marion Zinck.
Raised a true Bluerocker, Marc found joy in many hobbies over the years surrounding the water, and excelled in hockey as a young man. His love of the sea led him to form a successful career in the fishing industry which brought him life long and valuable friendships. When Marc found himself on land, he found great pleasure in everything outdoors including hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, gardening and spending time at his camp on Medway River. It was no secret that Marc adored Beagles. He found such comfort in the companionship of his beloved dogs over his years, up until the day he passed.
As Marc always said, “take aim and let drift”.
Marc is survived by his mother, Marion Zinck; son, Shawn Zinck (Alexandra); grand children, Alexa, Tobin and Ledger Zinck; Nephew, Matthew Zinck (Kristyn) as well as his Uncles Morton Tanner and Randall Tanner (Lisa).
Marc was predeceased by his father, Ralph Zinck; brother, Todd Zinck as well as his grand parents, Pauline and Andrew Tanner.
A Graveside Service will be held on July 10th, 2025, in the Upper Bluerocks Cemetery at 1:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elderdog or St.Pauls United Church in Bluerocks. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 367, Highway 303, Conway, NS (902) 679-2822.
