Obituary of Sandra Jean Gertridge

Sandra J. (Rockwell) Gertridge of Wolfville passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, in the Wolfville Nursing Home. Sandra was the eldest daughter of the late, John and Winnifred Rockwell. Sandra was the widow of the late, Dalton V. Gertridge.

Upon her graduation from Wolfville High and Horton District Highschool, Sandra joined the staff of the Royal Bank of Canada where she was employed for 32 years.

Sandra is survived by her two sons, Donald (Jodi Lynn) and Shawn (Fonda Leigh); two grandchildren, Chloe Anne (Dustin) and Lachlan (Megan); her younger sister, Mary Lou (Charlie Francis) as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her three brothers, Donald (Elizabeth), Randall Willis (Leona) and Allison as well as her brother-in-law, Charles Francis.

At Sandra’s request, no service will be held, Memorial donations may be made to the Gaspereau W.M.S Prayer Garden or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 198 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook, NS (902) 679-2822.
