It is with heartfelt sorrow the sudden but peaceful passing of Brandon James “B.J” at home on August 1, 2025, at the age of 60 years. Brandon was born in Ontario but raised in Halifax. Brandon was the youngest son of Lorna and Pat Soberal.

B.J is survived by his wife, Beverly Anne (Hayter); siblings, Debbie Burke, Cindy (Ralph) Burden, Janice Hallett, Roddy (Mary) Perry, Randy Perry and Darlene (Victor) Kelsie; his buddy, Frank the Cat; as well as many nieces and nephews.

B.J was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Hal Perry and Chris Perry.

Brandon worked in the flooring industry for most of his life. He enjoyed playing crib, darts and bowling.

Cremation has already taken place and there will be no service by request. A private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Heart Foundation.
