Obituary of Eva Roberta Allen
Friends and family mourn the passing of Eva Roberta Allen, widow of James Moody Allen of Melanson, who passed away peacefully in the Evergreen Home for Special Care on August 11, 2025. Born in Hortonville on May 26, 1931, Eva was the daughter of the late, Johnson and Florence Miner.
Before her marriage, Eva lived in Saint John, NB where she dedicated many years working at the Bank of Nova Scotia as well as City Hall. She was cherished for her unwavering faith, her warm sense of humor, and her beautiful cake decorating talents. Eva had a remarkable memory and a gift for story telling, often delighting visitors with poems and stories that left lasting smiles in her wake.
Eva is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eva was predeceased by her siblings, Vernon, Jean (Foote), Gerald, Mildred (Hooper) and Russell.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday August 20, 2025, at 2:00pm in the Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook with an interment to follow in the Gaspereau Cemetery.
