Obituary of John Titus

John Russell Titus, 74, of Centreville, Digby County, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. 

Born on June 16, 1951, in Digby, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Loran and Margaret (Miner) Titus.

Russell is survived by his two daughters, Cindy (Weldon) O’Neil and Tricia Titus, his siblings; Wayne (Cathy) Titus, Karna (Pat) Wright and Charlene Titus.  Six grandchildren; Bradley, Hayley, Marcus, Noah, Owen, Myles and two great-grandchildren; Sienna and Weston.

Russell was skilled and respected electrician.  He enjoyed his walks on the Bay of Fundy shore collecting buoys, and he was a man of few words.

Russell was predeceased by his daughter; Nicole “Nikki” Adelaide Titus, and by a sister, Joanne, in infancy.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the EHS staff in Digby, the staff at Digby General Hospital and Yarmouth Regional Hospital for their care, patience and compassion.

Cremation has taken place. 

An interment will be held at a later date for family only.
