John Bos  1932 – 2025

John Bos passed away peacefully in hospital on Monday, October 20, 2025, surrounded by love and four generations of family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy; his daughter, Anna; his son, Michael (Christine); his sister, Anna (John); his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, grandnephew, and grandniece.

Born in Zwolle, Netherlands in 1932, John immigrated to Canada in 1948 as a young boy. He carried with him a quiet strength and curiosity that shaped a life of service, creativity, and connection.

John served in Naval Air aboard the HMCS Bonaventure, and later worked at Marconi Canada in Montreal. His career at Michelin began in Maintenance and grew into leadership as Plant Manager across all three Nova Scotia plants—Granton, Waterville, and Bridgewater.
