91, Kingston, Kings Co. passed away Thursday October 4, 2007, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Cherryfield, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Ellis James and Hilda Mae (Awalt) Meisner. Marg was a secretary for Bowater Mersey in Brooklyn and Steel Engine Products in Halifax. She was a member of Bethany United Church in Halifax, later attending the Kingston United Church. Marg was a member of the Halifax Curling Club. She curled, golfed and lawn bowled in Kingston, and was an avid bridge player and was a member of the Kingston Senior Citizen's Club. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Keay; son, Philip Keay; brothers, Philip, Ronald & Glen Meisner; sister-in-law, Madelyn Keay. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Loretta Keay, Ingramport, HRM; grandson, Christopher Keay, Calgary, Alberta; sisters, Florence Smith, Berwick; Norma (Billy) Dexter, Ontario; Kathleen (Harry) Gilchrist, North Brookfield; brothers, David (Bea) Meisner, Ontario; Harry Meisner, Greenwood; several neices & nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday October 10, in the Grand View Manor, 110 Commercial St., Berwick. Rev. Elizabeth Johnson officiating, with burial in the United Church Cemetery, Liverpool, Queens Co. at a later date. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Grand View Manor, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or to any charity. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the H.C.
