85, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to a wonderful woman, Florence La Grace (Schofield) Parker. Born in Newtonville, she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Annie (Benjamin) Schofield. Florence resided in Wolfville, with her son Ronnie, his wife Heather and her grandchildren, Kaileigh and Cody. She is survived as well by daughters, Joan Greenough (Lloyd), Upper Burlington; Donna (Bob) Joslin, Dartmouth; Mary Ann (Irvin) Pinch, West Brooklyn; Bernice (Roddy) McCulloch, Lower Burlington; brother, Albert (Lois) Schofield, Greenwich. Florence is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, and extended family, Sheilagh (Keith) Morton, daughter Patty Dwyer and chosen grandson Mackenzie Reeves. Florence worked at R.W. DeWolfe and Paramount Hotel. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by loving companion, Ralph Wilson; great-granddaughter, Rachael Rebbecca; brothers, Parker, Fred, Ken, and Walter; sisters, Mary, Ethel, Rachael, Ellie, and Clara. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home Chapel, 568 Main St., Wolfville (902-542-2151), where funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, Rev. Gail Whalen Dunn officiating. Burial will take place in Gaspereau Cemetery. Family flowers only.
