Brian was born in Kentville on May 16, 1958. He leaves behind a family in deep mourning. He was a beloved son of Joan and Laurie Munroe; brother & friend to David & Malcolm. He leaves his wife, life partner & best friend, Kathryn (Ward). He was a cherished father to daughter, Alicia (Dave); stepsons: Noah John (Tracy); Jason (Tracey). A wonderful grandfather to Trevor, Brandon, Kyowa (Kyle); Chauncy & baby, Aidan. A treasured son in law & terrific brother in law. He leaves behind, nieces & nephews, a beloved uncle to them all. Brian was a long time employee of then Wade??s, now Foodland, for over 25 years. Friends & associates mourn the loss of a man to whom hard work, dedication & integrity was a way of life. He always shared his early morning coffee with his siamese cat "Mica", & enjoyed evening walks with his loving wife , Kathryn & their yellow lab, "Jack".Brian was a major sports fan, which covered all venues, but especially the "Blue Jays" and the "Maple Leafs". In his spare time, he might be found tinkering with his 1937, Pontiac car & we were all looking forward to our first drive in it. Brian was a quiet, gentle man who was taken from us too soon, but he left behind memories we will forever cherish. A caring son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle & a wonderful friend to his wife, Kathryn, he was her love, her best friend, he completed her. Brian??s sudden passing has left a void in his family??s lives that cannot be filled. We will miss him & grieve for him forever.
