Durling, Ronald LaVerne, 71, of Prospect, Kings County passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Prospect he was a son of the late Layton and Ivy Luella ( Nowlan) Durling. Ronald was a laborer working with various companies throughout his lifetime. He is survived by brothers: Alden (Eva) Durling, North Alton; Dwight (Margaret) Durling, Prospect; sisters: Helen Griffin, Coquitlam, B.C.; Jean Griffin, Port Williams; many nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by a sister, Elsie (Mrs. Clyde Cotter), brothers Maxwell, Harmon and Richard. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. No visitation by request. A family grave side memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007, in the Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge, N.S. Rev. Garnet Parker officiating.
