Wendy Elizabeth Rose, 66 of Waverley passed away peacefully on October 3, 2017 in the Halifax Infirmary, with her loving husband by her side. Born in Halifax on October 8, 1951, she was the daughter of Evelyn (Power) Hubley and the late Herbert Hubley.
Wendy was a retired secretary who loved to paint and work with crafts.
She is survived by her husband Dan Rose of Waverley; son Michael (Joy) Rose of Alberta; brother Bruce Hubley of Fall River; sister Sharon MacDougall of California; Edna Varnes of Ontario; grandsons Jordan and Daniel Rose of Alberta.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
