Obituary of Jenna Lynn Manson-Oldham

Please share a memory of Jenna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Jenna Lynn Manson-Oldham, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Jenna was born in Sydney on October 6, 1992. She lived in Sydney until she was five years old. At that time, she moved to Beaver Bank, with her family, where she started school and started developing many life-long friendships. Jenna later returned to Cape Breton and graduated from Memorial High School in 2010. She then went on to pursue a career in Esthetics by graduating from New Dawn College in Sydney. Jenna was currently working at Chatters Hair Salon in Dartmouth; as well as attending Success College where she was enrolled in the Paralegal Plus Program. If you were lucky enough to have known Jenna, you knew she marched to the beat of her own drum. However, that does not mean she did not want to be part of the "band". Jenna had a large circle of friends who were beside her through thick and thin. Nothing stopped Jenna from living her life to the fullest. She took every opportunity to grow, to learn, to love, and most importantly, to laugh – a laugh that truly exemplified her personality. Jenna's journey here may have been short, but the love she had for her family and friends will last a lifetime. Jenna is survived by her husband Daniel Oldham; mother Shauna MacPhee; father Bill (Ellen) Manson; mother and father-in-law Victor and Michelle Oldham; brother Alex; "beloved" sister Hannah; grandmothers Joan MacPhee and Pat Bowers; nephew William; niece Eleanor. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. "Jenna Moo" will be forever in our hearts. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre. As an espression of sympathy, the family askes, in lieu of flowers that memorial donations may be made to the The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
