Donna Margaret Dunham (nee Pace), age 81 years of Lower Sackville.

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our Wife, Mother and Nanny, Saturday, January 20, 2024, in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born on April 11, 1942, in Ecum Secum, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Edith Pace.

Donna was a member of the Sackville Legion Branch 162 Ladies Auxiliary for over 40 years, which she enjoyed immensely and where she had met many lifelong friends along the way. Mom enjoyed her many shopping trips to her favorite stores, listening to country music and in recent years spending time watching TV together with Dad. These past few years Mom faced many medical challenges which she faced with great strength and dignity.

Donna will be sadly missed and forever loved by husband of 55 years, David; her children, Carol Duggan, Lower Sackville; John (Joenda) Fleet, Lower Sackville; Doug (Belinda) Fleet, Ecum Secum; Deborah (Tony) Cattral, Cole Harbour; Alana (Kevin) Smith, Upper Sackville; and Allen (Melanie) Dunham, Fall River; along with 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. As well as her fur babies, which she loved dearly, Willow and Patches; and feathered friend, Sally.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Ross and Edith Pace; sister, Pearl; brothers, Reginald and Watson; and infant great-granddaughter, Isabelle Murphy Smith. Donna was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Special Thank you to the Dialysis Team at the Dickson Building Halifax and the doctors and nurses at the Dartmouth General Emergency Department for all your care and compassion you gave to Donna (Mom).

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 1-3 pm in the Sackville Legion Hall, 45 Sackville Crossroads, Lower Sackville. Rev.
