Obituary of Perrine Rose Rozee

ROZEE, Perrine Rose (Davison) – “Love is what you have given me every day.”

Age 56, Auburn, Kings Co., suddenly passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at home. Born on August 17, 1967, in Kentville, NS. She was the daughter of the late Murray Davison and Gail (Schofield/Davison) West.

Perrine worked in the AVRCE as a library tech for over 25 years. She loved what she did, and she loved all the kids she was able to connect with. Before she found the career she fell in love with she worked at various jobs before that and was very well educated. She fell in love with a man from Yarmouth David Rozee who gave her two wonderful and beautiful boys and an amazing stepdaughter. She enjoyed canning vegetables and preserves. Crafting, crocheting, cross-stitching. She loved reading books any chance she could. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

Perrine is survived by her mother and stepdad Gail & Dalton West, New Minas, NS; Son, Adam (Jenny Pierce) Rozee, Auburn, NS, Stepdaughter, Bailey (Justin) Rozee, Timberlea, NS, Step grandson Brecken Butler, Timberlea, NS. Her animals; Molly and Little Missy (Boo). Her baby cat Lunar. Many Aunts and Uncles, her wonderful friends, co-workers and students.

Perrine was predeceased by her father Murray, her loving husband David, her son Joshua and her brother Dwight.

There will be a memorial service held Monday, July 22, 2024, at 3:30pm at the Gaspereau United Baptist Church (2828 Greenfield Rd), with Rev. Gary Manthorne and Pastor Ben Davidson officiating. There is no reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Perrine may be made to the Labatt Cardio Center at the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a special charity that is close to the family/s heart. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook Village Park Dr. Coldbrook, NS (902-679-2822).
