80, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2009, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, with family by her side. Born in Halls Harbour, Kings Co., Lola was a daughter of the late Royal and Lola (Kaizer) Fraser. She worked at the W.K.M. Hospital in Berwick, and then joined the staff of the Grand View Manor, Berwick, when it opened in 1970 and where she worked until her retirement in 1991. Lola was a member of the Billtown Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are daughters, Connie (Steve Boudreau) McCamon, Coldbrook; Judy (Randy) Rockwell, Waterville; grandchildren, Robert (Dana MacMillan) McCamon, Sackville; Aimee McCamon, Edmonton, Alberta; Leigh and Caitlyn Rockwell, both at home, Waterville; great-grandchildren, Owen and Lola; sisters, Leota Daniels, Windsor; Leona (Paul) Boylan, Halls Harbour; sisters-in-law, Mary Fraser, South Berwick; Olive Fraser, Halls Harbour; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her true love and husband, Lewis R. Bezanson; sisters, Lima (Reg) Horsley; Alta (Bill) Campure; Mildred "Mim" (Rufus) Rockwell; brothers, Eldon (Muriel); Blake, Raymond and Lorimer Fraser; brother-in-law, Ken Daniels. Visitation will take place 7-9 p.m., Monday, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Funeral service will take place 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, in the Billtown Baptist Church, Hwy # 221, Billtown. Rev. Gerald Zinck officiating, with burial in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville.
