21, Waterville, Kings Co., passed away Wednesday August 27, 2008, in Kentville. Born in Kentville, Kings Co., he was a son of Katherine Barkhouse, Waterville. Andrew had a great love for Air Cadets and had been involved with the Pioneers Group of the Waterville Baptist Church. He also enjoyed working with computers. Andrew touched the hearts of all who knew him & will be greatly missed. Besides his mother, he is survived by brothers, Justin & Kody Barkhouse, at home; grandparents, Lester & Vivian Barkhouse, Waterville; great-grandmother, Melba Barkhouse, Grand View Manor, Berwick; uncles, Lawrence Barkhouse, Kentville; Donald Barkhouse, Waterville. He was predeceased by great-grandparents, Burns & Sadie Wallace; Vernon Barkhouse. Visitation for Andrew will take place 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Sunday August 31. Rev. Donald Rafuse officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Children's Wish Foundation of Canada or to the Kids Help Phone.
