90, Berwick, Kings Co. passed away Monday March 17, 2008, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in West LaHave, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Amy (Croft) Fraser. Ruth loved to knit, work at invisible mending, listening to Irish music & gardening. She was a devoted wife & mother. Surviving are sons, Stan (Marilyn) Corkum, Berwick; Edward (Betty) Corkum, Wilmot; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leverett N. Corkum; son, Terry in infancy. There will be a private visitation & funeral service in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Rev. Charles Bull officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to any charity.
