93, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away Tuesday September 30, 2008, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Greenwich, Kings Co., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lulu (Rafuse) Hennigar. Frances was a member of the Berwick Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School in Rockland, Coldbrook and South Berwick, where she was Secretary/Treasurer. She was a member of the Women's Institute, the Garden Club and assisted with the 4-H Club in South Berwick. Surviving are daughters, Wanda (Blair) Williams, Shubenacadie; Patricia (Patrick) Walsh, Airdrie, Alberta; son, Michael (Helen) Cohoon, Brooklyn Corner, Kings Co.; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Joy Forsythe, Grand View Manor; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Harry Cohoon; brothers, Wendell, Dean & Keith Hennigar; sister, Kathleen Hatt; one grandchild. There will be no visitation. Funeral service for Frances will take place 2 p.m. Friday October 3, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Rev. Elizabeth Johnson officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Grand View Manor or to any charity. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff on the Ross Unit at the Grand View Manor for their special care and thoughtfulness shown to Frances.
