74, South Berwick, Kings Co., formerly of Bridgetown, Annapolis Co. passed away Sunday August 3, 2008, in New Vision Special Care Homes Ltd. (Home for Seniors), South Berwick. Ralph was the last surviving member of his immediate family, as he was predeceased by his parents, Gertrude (Fredericks) & Robie Faulkenham; brother, John Byron Faulkenham; sister, Iona Gene Brown. Ralph was born on October 11, 1933, and raised in Bridgetown. Although he was afflicted with Cerebral Palsy since birth, he faced life with a positive attitude, despite his many health issues. He had also worked at the Plank & Hammer Workshop in Waterville. Ralph is survived by nephew, Stephen, niece, Sheri & brother-in-law, Warner Brown, all of Manitoba. Also by nephews Real & Rene Faulkenham, of Ontario. Very close & dear to Ralph's heart were special friends, Bessie Dalrymple & Debbie Young, also the management & staff of New Vision Special Care Home, South Berwick. Visitation will take place 2-4 p.m. and Prayer Service 3 p.m., Tuesday, both in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 6, in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Bridgetown. Canon Emery Harris officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to any charity. At this time, from the family, heart felt gratitude is extended to the administrator & all the staff of the New Vision Special Care Home who gave Ralph such excellent care & for all the compassion & devotion to him.
