72, of New Minas, Kings Co., passed away Monday, February 11, 2008, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Curtis and Muriel (Norton) Dexter. Joseph worked for Sterling's Fruit Farm for over 55 years. He had a great love for horse and pony pulls. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Joseph is survived by his brother, Murray, Kentville. Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his brothers, Curtis, John and Paul. Visitation for Mr. Dexter will be held from 7-9 p.m. today with a funeral service held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville (902-678-2151) with Rev. Robert Billings officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Jaw Bone Corner Cemetery. Donations in Joseph's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to Canadian Diabetes Association. Private condolences to the family may be sent by visiting:
