Peacefully passed away on June 13, 2008. Daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Kelly) Cook. Loving wife of the late Vernon Guptill. Devoted mother of Verna (Boyne Scott), Frank and Beverley (Robert Armstrong). Jenesta is also survived by her brothers, Murray (Myrtle), Lawrence (Dorothy), sisters, LaVaughn "Bonnie" Porter & Rhoda. Grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. There will be no visitation by the family's request. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception; Saturday June 21, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 568 Main St., Wolfville (902-542-2151). Rev. Robert Billings officiating. Interment will take place in West Brooklyn Cemetery. The family graciously accepts flowers or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Jenesta.
