79, Greenwood, Kings Co. passed away Monday May 19, 2008, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, she was the eldest daughter of the late John Thomas and Mary (West) Lawrence. Betty was a member of the Greenwood Golf Course, Greenwood Curling Club and was an Associate Member of the R.C.A.F.A. She had been the owner and operator of the Cameo Beauty Salon in Greenwood for many years. Surviving are sons, Eric (Bev) Faulkner, Bracebridge, Ont.; Clayton (Barb) Faulkner, Stratford, P.E.I.; daughters, Patricia Faulkner, Charlottetown, P.E.I.; Christina Faulkner, Bracebridge, Ont.; Deborah (George) Gillis, Greenwood; grandchildren, David, Jenn, Josh, Kirt, Kyle, Cory, Keith & Kim; great-grandchild, Dash; sister, Dorothy (John) Olenick, Gimli, Man.; many nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Clayton Lawrence; sisters, Addy Lawrence in infancy & Olive Andrews. Visitation for Betty will take place 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, from where the funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Friday May 23. Canon Emery Harris officiating, with Interment in the Aylesford Union Cemetery.
